The procedure for importing motor vehicles will change from April 1. This is reported by Telegram-channel "Rastamozhka".

According to the channel, in accordance with the relevant order of the Government:

- from April 1, 2024 vehicle, it will be possible to register at customs only in the name of the person to whom the certificate of conformity was issued.

- vehicles are not subject to customs clearance on the basis of a certificate of conformity issued in the name of another individual or legal entity.

It is also said that the government has been instructed to make a proposal to amend normative legal acts on the inadmissibility of application to motor vehicles of the norm of moving goods in the customs warehouse regime to other persons.
